Video clip of Corey Stansell helping out his friend, Jessica Robyn by giving her a serious hair cut in order to donate the excess hair to Locks of Love. A minimum of 10 inches had to be cut off as per the Locks of Love requirements for donations. Corey and Jessica had discussed how long to allow the hair to grow in order to provide the best possible specimen for donation. Helping those who are currently fighting cancer and loosing their hair as a result of the chemotherapy treatments is something that meant a lot to both of them. Jessica, as a survivor herself and Corey, whose aunt is currently battling the disease as well, were both interested in taking this small step to help someone feel less uncomfortable with their appearance, while going through the miserable process of chemotherapy. The final donation was over 14 inches long, and Locks of Love sent a thank you letter and certificate to acknowledge the donation. In addition to the hair donation to Locks of Love, Corey Stansell took further steps by growing out his mustache during the month of November in honor of the Movember annual event. Movember is an annual event that takes place throughout November, during which time men grow out their facial hair in order to bring awareness to men's health issues. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, with the hope of 'changing the face of men's health.' Founded in 2004, Movember is a large non-profit organization that focuses on bringing awareness to prostate cancer, male depression and testicular cancer. In 2012 they were rated one of the worlds top 100 non-governmental organizations.
